Hello! The Y has relaunched and is now open! Below you will find resources for your review, so that you understand what to expect when you visit. We encourage you to read everything thoroughly, because although our facilities and programs will feel familiar, our operating policies and procedures will be slightly different due to the evolving guidelines put in place by the CDC, state and local officials. Because your safety is our top priority, we will be adhering to these rules, and ask for your patience and understanding as you do the same while we navigate this new world we're living in together.

Hear from Jay Rist, the Y's long-time CEO, on what's been going on at our downtown facility while we've been closed and what we have planned now that we are open.

For Your Safety & the Safety of Others

#WEARAMASK. Per the Governor's mandate, masks are required for you to enter. Remove your mask when you begin your activity and put it back on when you are finished or talking with others. The Y is the place to be to socialize and hang with friends. Please be considerate of others not in your group and maintain appropriate spacing while talking and working out. This is a big help!Be sure to wash your hands before and after your workout, and anytime after using the bathroom. Remember to also not touch your face. Be sure to sanitize everything you touch. Wipes available.

Group Exercise Classes
Group exercise classes will continue to be offered FREE to our members. We have our most popular classes and instructors ready to go, but please know that there will be a limit on the number of participants for each class and social distancing will be required. Classes will be held in four locations at the Y, our group exercise studio, gymnasium, indoor cycling studio, and indoor pool. The group ex studio will be used for classes that use equipment such as weights and dummies; the gymnasium will be used for aerobic classes like Zumba; cycling will be held in the usual locale in our former racquetball court #1; and water aerobics will held in the pool. Classes will have a limited number of spots for participants and are outlined in the new schedule below.

To enter your class, you will need to stop by the Welcome Center Desk, let our staff know which class you are going to and you will be given a number card. Once all number cards are distributed, the class has met its limit. Cards are to be given to the instructors upon entering your class location. It's that easy!

If you signed up for any of our programs for the Winter/Spring 2020 or Summer 2020 sessions, our programming department will be reaching out to you to provide details on what will happen next. We are monitoring the requirements to hold programs, especially for our youth, and we will make a determination soon regarding some of our Fall/Winter 2020 offerings, such as youth basketball, indoor soccer and swim lessons.
