Summer Day Camp

At the YMCA, providing safe, high quality, and enriching experiences for all youth has always been our top priority, and even in today’s world, this promise remains true. Although we can’t know for certain what the future holds, we are busy planning a camp that is SAFE and full of life-changing experiences and unforgettable memories. As we head towards summer, we will continue to update families along the way.

Here are a few of the ways we plan to keep all campers safe this summer:

  • Smaller Group Sizes: Campers will stay in small groups throughout the week to avoid unlimited contact. Because of limited size, camp space is limited. Register now!
  • Scheduled Hand Washing Breaks: Campers will wash hands throughout the day to keep germs away.
  • Sanitizing Spaces & Supplies: All camp spaces and equipment will be disinfected regularly.

There is no place like Day Camp – A home away from home where kids laugh, learn, explore and grow both indoors & outdoors, while creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Kids discover not just the wonders of day camp but the joy of exploring their unique traits, talents and interests and the power of sharing their strengths and skills to benefit the group. That’s why kids in Southern West Virginia attend the Y’s summer day camp; to belong, achieve and build relationships.
