Youth Winter Basketball
The YMCA Youth Basketball League focuses on developing fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment. Open to boys and girls of all skill levels, the league emphasizes player growth over competition, ensuring a positive experience for every participant.
Registration is open for players enrolled in:
PreK & Kindergarten
1st & 2nd Grade
3rd & 4th Grade
5th & 6th Grade

Programs and Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Management may issue a partial credit to use at the YMCA of Southern West Virginia. Program staff will determine if a credit will be given based on the date and reason of the request. No credits will be issued after the start date of any program.
1st & 2nd Grade 2024-25
The 1st & 2nd Grade Division is an introductory league focused on learning and developing the basics of basketball.
This league will take place on Friday evenings from 5:30PM-6:30PM (6:30PM-7:30PM will be used if needed) with the first 30 minutes being a practice with their team and the second 30 minutes being a game with the team across from them.
Programs and Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Management may issue a partial credit to use at the YMCA of Southern West Virginia. Program staff will determine whether a credit will be given based on the date and reason of the request. No credits will be issued after the start date of any program.
