Youth Winter Basketball
Your child and their new friends will have the opportunity to learn the basic skills of dribbling, passing, defense, teamwork and sportsmanship with the emphasis on participation and fun!
Practice begins November with games beginning in December
Registration is open for players enrolled in:
PreK & Kindergarten
1st & 2nd Grade
3rd & 4th Grade
5th & 6th Grade
Programs and Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Management may issue a partial credit to use at the YMCA of Southern West Virginia. No credits will be issued after the start date of any program.

1st & 2nd Grade 2023-24
The 1st & 2nd Grade Division is an introductory league focused on learning and developing the basics of basketball.
This league will take place on Friday evenings from 5:30PM-6:30PM (6:30PM-7:30PM will be used if needed) with the first 30 minutes being a practice with their team and the second 30 minutes being a game with the team across from them.
Programs and Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Management may issue a partial credit to use at the YMCA of Southern West Virginia. Program staff will determine whether a full or partial credit will be given based on the date and reason of the request. No credits will be issued after the start date of any program.

Games will be held on Saturday mornings starting at 9:00AM
Programs and Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Management may issue a partial credit to use at the YMCA of Southern West Virginia. Program staff will determine whether a full or partial credit will be given based on the date and reason of the request. No credits will be issued after the start date of any program.
